If you make your way into the bays of Southern NH in the summer, paddle-boarding is always recommended for water-loving travelers. The Portsmouth Paddle Co. will rent you a board and take you on a guided tour of the area. You can even custom build your own experience if you are booking a tour with a group. If you’re into it, you can even get out on the water for some paddleboard yoga.
2. Head to the Copper Beach Winery in Hooksett
The Copper Beach Winery is known for producing some of the most prize-winning wines in the state. If you appreciate good domestic wine, take a trip out near Lake Massabesic and make your way to Copper Beach. The winery offers wine tastings, tours, and even a chance to chat with the winemaker.
3. Check out Hampton Beach
Hampton Beach is perhaps one of the most picture-perfect beaches in New Hampshire. Not only do you get incredible views of the Atlantic on this white sandy beach, but you can also catch shows at the Sea Shell Stage, watch sandcastle artists at work some days in the summer, and find the best fresh seafood nearby. Hampton Beach is well-known for hosting some of the best outdoor and seaside events as long as the weather permits. The atmosphere here is always fun and inviting, and access to the beach is free.

Escape rooms are always a good choice if you’re looking for fun things to do in Southern NH this weekend. One of the best in the area is Granite State Escape in Manchester. This location has four unique adventures, including a Blind Pig Speakeasy and a Dead Cabin where getting out alive feels like a massive undertaking but is loads of fun for horror fans.
